Working now. I'm not sure what changed. It works If I perform the following steps on my Google Pixel 8a: 1. Open app, 2. Turn on device, 3. Start a session (connects to Bluetooth)

I read all the negative reviews regarding the difficulties connecting the device to the phone app. Upon my initial attempts to set up and connect the device to the app, it appeared the reviews were correct. It was extremely difficult to connect. But I was quickly able to resolve the difficulty by temporarily powering off my Bluetooth connected smartwatch which was apparently interfering with the device connectivity. After I did that, the device flawlessly connects to the app every time.

Bought the Trivago Plus and received it today. I have the Samsung fold 6. Galaxy watch8. Watch wasn't paired on initial app install and Trivago pairing. Truvaga paired flawlessly to the app. I connected my smartwatch back to my phone. Initially Trivago shut off, I think bc I didn't start a session in the app. I kept my watch connected, reconnected Trivago and started a session without disconnecting my smartwatch. No idea what these other reviews are referring to 🤷. Now let's see if it works...

Spent 30 minutes troubleshooting with their support only to learn that unless I completely unpair my Fitbit, I can't pair the Trivago device. And I can't reconnect the Fitbit after because that kicks the Trivago off Bluetooth again. Wish I'd seen all these reviews before I bought the device. How can they sell a product that doesn't pair with half the phones out there unless it's the only connected device?

Having an app is a horrible design choice that shows exceptionally bad judgment to have this thing connects to a phone at all. They get some data on you, but it's unclear how any of that data will actually help them make a better product rather than just help with marketing and keeping tabs on you. Every single function of the app should have been built into the device. It's also important that patients stand by in solidarity and ready to start a lawsuit if Trivago adds microtransactions

I've had my Trivago since May 6th, 2025. I have a 1-year-old Android S24. I loved the device used it ~260 times and its results on my sleep, etc. BUT July 11th, it no longer would pair with my phone. So I can't use it. I did all the troubleshooting NO RESULTS (and it previously paired) called customer service, and they still have not responded to me for any resolution.2 mo. post purchase. I'm beyond disappointed and feel like a fool .ripped off and no effort from the company! Sherie
