Reading previous reviews it seems you do need a membership for any of the features, and I do understand the need for the app to make money. However, the membership is described as "TT Fit Pro" and there is an X icon on the pop-up to sign up which suggests that you can use it without the subscription. I did not find that to be the case and was bombarded with subscription popups a few seconds after I'd closed the previous.
