Switched from Gmail/Hotmail due to spam & ads. Tuta Mail has been a refreshing change. The inbox feels clean, private, and reliable (except for notifications !). I love the option to use multiple aliases, which makes it easy to separate things like important from non-important emails. My wishes: To see the total number of emails (not just unread) for easier cleanup. On desktop, the layout could be improved by allowing narrower or minimized side tabs, so the email preview area can be wider.

If you want a private email, this is the one to go for, a wonderful team of Devs who support privacy right and will fight to keep your info private, not only do they make this app, they also offer a secure calendar, and I believe a tuta drive is in the works... can't wait for it. The app works well, has lots of cool features and easy to use and navigate. Overall 10/10, would 100% recommend to everyone

Simple and non-fussy on older eyes. Sometimes a little slow to load, but then I also use DDG with all tracking blocks and email protection. I like it, thank you. I only wish you'd totally Google since I added this in F-Droid!

I can select my emails, but it'll say no mail available, and im not able to log in on my desktop. Ive used Tutanota for years but ive never had so many issues with the service in years

No Support. I've read many reviews. Many confirm my experience where Tuta does not help unless you pay, & even then, they may still ignore you. My account got frozen even though I haven't hit the 6th month of no use. I've emailed them, but they do not respond. If they don't care to assist now with a free account, they won't care if I pay for another account either.

WAS great, now the app isn't even functional. When I try to open an email it says "no email selected" and it's not an internet issue because my other mailing app (proton mail) works just fine. Another issue is that it's not updating the notifications while I'm still in the app. I'll mark everything as read, but it will still have a notification inside the app. I re-installed the app, it didn't fix anything. Temporary fix; click on an archived email, and then the one in inbox will FINALLY open.
