Been on this system couple years and couple friends are slowly switching over from spyoogle. I had update app where emails were spread out into newsletters promotions etc. thank god now back under inbox or spam, had research how to block email address and remove contacts that weren't required any more one point wasn't getting any notifications latest update had blocked them off weird I also use the proton VPN and proton PASS

Doesn't allow you to add any other email accounts without paying, so it's very useless. With other features paying for them is more reasonable, but this is a very basic and essential feature

The mail is great, but a simple reminder not to create multiple free accounts would’ve helped. I chose Proton because I trusted it, but I genuinely didn’t know there was such a restriction. The system allowed me to create multiple accounts, so I didn’t realize I was violating anything until they were all banned. I explained the situation and only asked to recover my first account, but I guess my unusual explanation was hard to believe.

Can't use the app with the latest update. There are two options: keep my inbox the same or use their automatic filtering. I want to keep it the same, but that option isn't working. So I guess I can't use proton mail at all. Now when I try to check my email, it takes me through a few screens advertising a new inbox auto filter thing. At the end of the slideshow there are two options: a big button that will apply that setting, and a smaller link above. The link doesn't work. Uninstalled.

Great email, but the app is terrible. It won't let me search or send emails; it used to work great, and I don't know what happened. If I want to send emails and search, I need to log in to the browser 🤦🏻
