Been on this system couple years and couple friends are slowly switching over from spyoogle. I had update app where emails were spread out into newsletters promotions etc. thank god now back under inbox or spam, had research how to block email address and remove contacts that weren't required any more one point wasn't getting any notifications latest update had blocked them off weird I also use the proton VPN and proton PASS

I had targeted advertising relating to stuff I had in unsent drafts in Gmail, then lost access to my Google account because their security screening shat the bed. Proton Mail is actually reliable.

It seems the Proton environment gets better as new features come out. I'll be dropping Microsoft 365 as soon as I transfer all of my files over. Proton, thank you for being an ethical company and protecting people's desire for privacy.

Your Proton account is currently restricted from registering on third-party services. To lift this restriction, you need to add a verified recovery email address or phone number, or consider upgrading your account. So much for privacy focused.

The mobile app version of your Proton Mail has VERY LIMITED settings options/capabilities as compared to your web version. It would be nice to optimize your Proton Mail better for your Android mobile app version. Settings option/capability like adding/managing Filters - I canno add/create/manage a Filter in your Android mobile app version and need to log in to your web browser version just to do that. Adding additional addresses/aliases. I cannot also do that in the mobile app too

Picking up my backup device after 2 months. Insert SIM, turn it on, and boom - 100+ notifications from the Proton Mail app. Notifications for emails that I deleted on my main device 5-8 weeks ago... 🤷🏼‍♂️ Why? How? What does "delete" mean in Proton Land? Your online support has been talking around this question for over a year.
