I have had a great time using proton, I use almost their entire family of apps and essentially removed Google from my day-to-day use (except maps, hint proton). Fantastic email service, have never had a problem. Easy to use, super easy to forward emails straight from Gmail, so you never have to worry about missing something while transitioning. Very Happy. I have signed up for the paid level and have found that I will purchase another years worth directly next time, instead of play store.

Not bad, paid version too expensive, free version can not delete old e-mails in bulk, only single e-mails, so if you subscribe many newsletters you easily need to delete man thousands of e-mails manually. If the promised encryption works ... I do not know. Those who want encrypted e-mails are most interesting for the NSA and other spy organizations.

What do you need the new "play install referrer API" for? Same for version 7.9.3, 7.9.4, 7.9.5, 7.10.0 ~ and now logging in does not work anymore: human verification fails 20 out of 20 times with a communication error

Formatting of text in emails gets really messed up easily. Especially when copying and pasting. The pasted text is bigger than the typed text and there is no way to reformat it.

Was looking for an alternative to Gmail. Created my account and installed the app and immediately got slapped with some kind of abuse detection before I could even open the first email.
