Aster Mail keeps your messages and personal information secure and private. It is a free encrypted email app with end-to-end encryption, PGP, email aliases, and zero ads.

Aster Mail is built around end-to-end encryption, which means you don't have to trust us with your data, your messages, or your keys. Only you can read your inbox, and we can't even if we tried.

End-to-end encryption
- No one, including us, can read your private messages.
- Messages between Aster users are protected with ML-KEM-768 post-quantum encryption.
- Your mailbox is zero access and zero knowledge, so your mail is encrypted at rest and in transit.
- Quantum-safe email encryption protects you today against harvest now, decrypt later attacks.

Aster Mail is forever free
- The free plan is a real free plan with 10 GB and full encryption included.
- You can create multiple aliases to keep your personal identity hidden.
- Email aliases work as disposable, burner, and throwaway addresses for signups.
- If you ever need more, paid plans start only at $2.99 a month.
- Paid plans add custom domain email for your business, your family, or your own name.

Fast, simple, and easy to use
- It's as smooth as Gmail or Outlook, just without any surveillance.
- You get push notifications, dark mode, search, swipe gestures, folders, labels, filters, and multiple identities.
- Schedule send, undo send, snooze, signatures, attachments, and contacts are all built in.
- Add your existing IMAP, SMTP, and POP3 accounts and read every inbox in one mail app.
- Lock the app with a PIN, biometrics, or a passkey, and turn on two-factor authentication.

No trackers, no ads, ever

Standard OpenPGP for everyone else
- When you email somebody on Gmail, Outlook, or Proton Mail, we use OpenPGP with RSA-4096 and automatic key discovery to encrypt those messages.
- Your keys are portable and work with any other PGP client, such as Thunderbird or GPG.
- Import your old mail in a few taps and switch to a private email address without losing a message.
- If you ever decide to leave Aster, you can take your mail and keys with you. We do not believe in vendor lock-in.

- Our servers are located in Falkenstein, Germany under Strict GDPR and Privacy Laws.
- Your mail is covered by EU data protection law instead of US subpoena reach.
- We publish and update a signed Warrant Canary to keep you updated, as well as a transparency page.
