No email provider is even near tutamail when it comes to security. I can't imagine how the world would be, if companies like tuta wouldn't exist.

Tutanota has gotten a lot better, and it's definitely worth using. Search has gotten much better too. Proton still doesn't have text formatting but Search is much better on Proton. Tuta, please give us the option to use a Pin Lock Only, Scheduled Send, and when we Swipe/Click Back on Android that should correspond to the Back Arrow in the app.

I switched from Gmail to Tuta mail. And The reason is obvious. Gmail spies on you (they might be spying on you rn 👀👀) But tuta mail is safe. Offers privacy. And because I started to become a cybersecurity guy I changed to Tuta Mail. Have a great day.

After a recent conversation with a colleague around digital sovereignty, thought I'd give Tuta a go. I'm stunned by how clean the mail app is, and how smoothly it works. Tuta doesn't ask me if I want to pay extra for more AI tokens, or if I want AI to help me write emails etc. It just delivers fast, clean, secure email. It automatically blocks images for every domain until you tell it otherwise, and flags bulk mails as such, but again you can turn this off per domain. Stunning service.

Great email service, the only real negative is that when I highlight text from email to copy it, if I highlight more than a screen it freaks out and loses the highlight. I can either highlight a little bit of text so that it fits in one screen or "select all" and copy the whole email. The only other issue stems from the extra care the developer takes for privacy: according to Android at least (not sure if it's true) the app uses a lot of battery in the background due to its own push servers.

I have been unable to gain access to my original Tuta email account that has not received a new message since Oct. 5, 2025. I recently created a Tuta account and paid for a subscription in hopes to gain access or the ability to reset it, but that has not worked. I learned today tutamail account I can not access is currently being actively used to access my current AT&T app by identity thieves who have taken over my account...and Tuta says they can't do anything about it. SMH!

Since last few months the app shows a notification for all the mails including spam and phishing mails. Only after opening the mailbox it suddenly moves these mauls to the spam filter. This behavior causes me to open many spam and phishing mails through the notification from which the software actually knows they should be in the spam folder

I can no longer log into my account. My password is correct, and I have the recovery code, but I've been locked out for a whole month. There is no direct way to contact you. All my accounts are linked to this email and are now frozen. My paid subscription expires in a month, and I am about to lose all my emails and data.
