I've been a paid proton customer for at least 8 years. On my previous device the calendar widget was great and well-optimised ito the space it took up on my home page. After getting a new device, the widget is enormous and cannot be sized-it takes up way too much space - even after adjusting the font size on my device.

Good calendar, free plan supports 3 calendars. I like the widget too. Adding/editing events is a bit cumbersome though. I like month view. If I want to edit or add an event, I long press the event or day, then view is shifted to day view, where I can do the add/edit. And then I need to switch back to month view. It would be nice to avoid the view switching, Samsung and other calendar apps does this.

can't edit offline. This is a major dealbreaker for me. A quick web search shows that it's been "road mapped" for years now

I'm slowly moving away from Google and chose Proton. I like the calendar, but it pains me I have to pay more to have several colors, but in all honesty it's not a massive deal. The real suggestion is the ability to add attachments to Proton Calendar or at least allow us to link to a document in the Proton Drive (it's what I do with Google calendar). Sadly this is a dealbreaker for me, so until this is an offered option, I will have to stick to Google otherwise things get really confusing.

It needs work before I fully switch from Google calendar. Having no monthly widget is a huge downside for me. Plus, the USA holiday calendar is missing a lot of holidays. Hope to see future improvements.
