Twelva — Your Private Recovery Companion
Recovery is personal. Your AI should be too.
Don’t put your most sensitive recovery conversations into the same general-purpose AI you use for work, research and everyday life. Twelva gives recovery its own dedicated, private space.
Twelva is an intelligent companion for the daily work of recovery — there when you want to talk, reflect, work through a craving, ask a difficult question, or simply make it through today.
Unlike a general-purpose AI assistant, Twelva is built specifically for recovery. Your conversations stay focused on your recovery journey, with a companion that learns your context over time and is there when you need it.
Whether you follow the Twelve Steps, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, Al-Anon, CBT-informed tools, faith-based recovery, or your own secular path, Twelva meets you where you are.
WHAT’S INSIDE
YOUR PERSONAL AI RECOVERY COMPANION
Talk privately when you need support, perspective or a way through a difficult moment. Ask questions you may not be ready to ask someone else. Reflect on what happened today, work through a craving, prepare for a meeting, or simply talk.
DAILY RECOVERY READINGS
Start each day with a short, grounded reflection to help you stay present, honest and focused on today.
SOBRIETY TRACKER & MILESTONES
See your sober days and clean time at a glance. Celebrate the milestones that matter without turning recovery into a scorecard. A slip does not erase the days you earned.
GUIDED TWELVE STEP WORK
Work through the Twelve Steps at your own pace with thoughtful questions designed for real life.
RECOVERY LIBRARY
Explore readings and guided plans across Twelve Step recovery, SMART Recovery, Refuge Recovery, Al-Anon, CBT-informed approaches, faith-based recovery and secular recovery.
PRIVATE RECOVERY JOURNAL
Write freely, answer guided questions and keep a record of the thoughts, patterns and breakthroughs that matter to you.
HALT CHECK-INS
Notice when you may be Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired — and choose a healthier next step.
BREATHING & GROUNDING
Simple tools for moments when you feel overwhelmed, triggered, anxious, angry or disconnected.
THOUGHT REFRAMING
Slow down unhelpful thinking, challenge the story in your head and find a clearer next step.
CRAVING & RELAPSE SUPPORT
Practical support when a craving hits — and a compassionate way back when things do not go according to plan.
BUILT FOR REAL RECOVERY
Twelva is not about perfection. It is about returning.
Returning to honesty.
Returning to calm.
Returning to connection.
Returning to today.
Use what helps. Leave what does not. Come back whenever you need to.
WHO TWELVA IS FOR
Twelva is for people recovering from alcohol or drugs, people in AA or NA, people who prefer secular recovery, people working with a sponsor, people who have never had one, people rebuilding after a slip, and families affected by someone else’s addiction.
You do not have to recover exactly like anyone else.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
Some of the most important conversations in recovery are also the most sensitive.
Twelva gives those conversations their own dedicated place instead of mixing them into the general-purpose AI tools you use for work, research and everyday life.
Your recovery is personal. Keep it that way.
We do not sell your personal data.
START WHERE YOU ARE

IMPORTANT
Twelva is a recovery companion, not a therapist, doctor, human sponsor, emergency service or replacement for professional care. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis, contact local emergency services or use the crisis resources available in Twelva.
Recent changes:
Your step work, kept safe: a cleared answer stays cleared, restarting a Step leaves your other Steps untouched and never re-locks Steps you have reached, and an unfinished answer is saved when you leave the app.
Steps 8, 9 and 10 show your earlier lists with the right columns.
Exporting a Step now makes a real PDF, worded as you saw it, with full-width tables.
