Changed my review back to 5 star, within a day of pointing out the issue I was having on Android 16 an update was released, and the app is working again. Either they were already on top of it or were super responsive to my issue, either way, great support. *Revised my review from 5 to 1 star. I've been using twinkly lights for a few years now. App no longer works after switching to a pixel 10 pro on android 16.*

The last two years have been great, but this year has been awful. Same lights, but this year it took me four hours total to get three strands working. I had to set up a dedicated 2.4GHz network just to get the things on Wi-Fi, and it took many, many tries with the setup flow in the app for each. Just awful.

Used to work without issues when I bought my first Twinkly lights back in winter of 2024. One year later and it's just full of issues now. I have to reset and set up my twinkly lights on daily basis, but even that is no longer simple as most of the setup process fails at some points, and I have to waste my time just to turn these lights on/off. I will no longer be buying anything from this company and won't recommend them anymore. Thanks to their firmware and app updates, my devices are useless.

App barely works, tree can't be turned off and on randomly, timer settings don't work, app is clunky and a pain to use. Needs much improvement. Don't buy products without continued support. Don't buy Twinkly.
