The Twinkly app makes customizing my lights ridiculously fun and effortless.... Being able to map out the lights with your phone camera to create custom color patterns. Animations. And effects is incredible... The preset themes look amazing right out of the box...and setting timers or adjusting brightness takes just a few taps. It completely transforms the entire atmosphere of the room... Absolutely worth every penny!

Amazing product. Great app for controlling the lights. Have set a schedule with different light patterns throughout the evening. All the neighbors comment on the Christmas tree lights.

App barely works, tree can't be turned off and on randomly, timer settings don't work, app is clunky and a pain to use. Needs much improvement. Don't buy products without continued support. Don't buy Twinkly.

The last two years have been great, but this year has been awful. Same lights, but this year it took me four hours total to get three strands working. I had to set up a dedicated 2.4GHz network just to get the things on Wi-Fi, and it took many, many tries with the setup flow in the app for each. Just awful.

Total waste of money. This app is unable to detect their own hardware even when granted Bluetooth access and directly connected to the brand-new lights' own Wi-Fi Direct network. These are effectively just insanely overpriced preprogrammed LEDs with a frankly pathetic choice of only five color presets. I have LED light strands 2-3 times longer that have hundreds of presets for half the price of this junk. Also, you need a microscope to read the manual. They'll be going straight back to the store.
