The app initially was very amateurish in functionality with connectivity bugs and odd behavior (the timer was buggy for instance). Recent updates fixed the bugs and added things like presets (something most other lights have). There's also minor tweaks to the interface that have made this app feel much more polished. They should have delayed the release of the Series V light until they had brought the app up to this current level through testing.

Light shuts off at the same time every day since the new update. Changing the timer doesn't fix this, and it doesn't even save my settings. The EV line can't even take a manual dimmer/timer due to the differences in the cable.

Considering the quality of the lights the controllers are rubbish. I have four same model lamps that when set to same brightness level they output different luminosity. Even when I pair them, set same schedule they act differently not to mention some lamps have a mind of their own and do not obey the schedule. I especially bought the Bluetooth controllers believing it would be a good thing. I have rather spent that money on a mi boxer controller and still get out cheaper.

Twin star Light Control Pro — promising idea, frustrating execution Is seriously bugs. After a power cut it fully resets, including schedules, so you can’t rely on it when away. Light intensity settings also don’t always save — if you dim and restore brightness, the next day it may start at the dimmed level. Until these issues are fixed, I can’t recommend it despite the solid hardware.
