A great game that would get 5 stars but paying a subscription does not make it ad free. The boost feature requires triggers an ad, which is a pain, but still cost you coins. I don't use the boost now.

A superb game, We play it nightly. But could do with some tweaks... - I gather the adverts are extremely intrusive on the free version and the subscription is a little steep. - I've been asking for years (since V1) for a dictionary option to see the definition of the word I have just played. You always say it's on the list, but I'm not sure I believe you! - Version 2 is way more cartoon than V1 and full of needless and annoying fluff.

I've playing this for some time, really enjoying it. But the new "Freeze the needle ...." feature is ... erm ..... puzzling! How DO I freeze the needle? 😕

I'm not keen on the new update. The game favors the 'bots', Wordsworth who I play against often always has a great selection of letters, unlike me and often consists of 6 vowels or 6 consonants 😭 The Ads are RELENTLESS and you now need to watch an Ad to swap your letters (which are never much better than what you've just swapped). The game wasn't perfect before the update, but it was definitely better.

Too many adverts that interrupt game play spoil it somewhat. Very disappointed that the ONLY way to get rid of them is a subscription model.
