Good: typing speed is way improved, and it is much more pleasant to actually type on the phone. Meh: the autocomplete correction is hard when you constantly switch between languages, but I get that it is a hard problem to solve

Excellent keyboard. Takes a bit of time to get used to but after that initial hump you can't go back to a regular keyboard.

I like the layout, but I wish the predictions in the smart bar worked better. It doesn't offer contractions if I've typed all the letters and suggestions often don't take into account the prior words and phrases. So like, for "we'll", typing "well" doesn't offer the contraction.

Landscape bug. Pretty much when you are in landscape mode it has a nasty bug where there is a huge white wall under the keyboard. You cant see what you are typing, because the keyboard is so high up.

I used to give Type wise 4/5 stars, only hoping they would improve on minor issues. Edit March 2026: I will be forced to find a new keyboard. Type wise now partners with Approx, a company that tracks your data to sell you "better online shopping". Even though it is an opt-in, the choice of partner speaks volumes. Add to this Type wise forcing an AI assistant on Pro members makes me never want to go back to pro. They could have just improved their autocorrect, but no...

Emoji search option is a basic expectation. Reply when that is implemented, and I will buy the pro. This keyboard has so much potential. I can type fast as I make fewer mistakes in this keyboard that is your selling point, but I am not going to be faster when I scroll and scroll to type a single emoji
