Description

Provides remote operation functionality via Bluetooth® Low Energy (BLE), a visual display and audio of scanned radio transmissions. The display and all controls of the SDS150 are replicated on the app allowing you to access and control all the functions within the range. All incoming audio from the transmissions can be recorded and heard through your devices.

Overall a good experience however some issues with taking control via the android app then trying to use the buttons later on the scanner. Sometimes the physical buttons stop working. For example avoid will stop working until you power cycle the scanner, however only happens when connected via Bluetooth. Simply disconnecting from the scanner and restarting the app the physical buttons like avoid and enter are still disabled on the sds150 requiring you to reboot to fix.

Garbage. App works OK one day then next day won't connect at all. Love it when app says "Bluetooth signal weak or unstable" when scanner and phone or tablet are only inches apart. Or when it says "connection timed out" when you tap the SDS150 on the List of Devices screen. Uniden...... go back to crystal scanners. At least they used to work.

With an approximate 10'-0 Bluetooth signal range from the scanner to phone, this isn't really user-friendly.
