Description

The UCT MBChB Awards Calculator helps University of Cape Town medical students track their course marks across all six years and see which degree awards they are on course to achieve.

It is a fully offline calculator. There is no sign-in, no account and no internet connection required. Your marks stay on your device.

KEY FEATURES

- Full course catalogue for all six MBChB years, with the correct point weightings for each course.
- Enter your mark per course; points are awarded automatically (first class, upper second or lower second) using the official thresholds.
- Handles Pass and Fail courses correctly, including removing pass-only courses from the block maximum.
- Live dashboard with a hero progress ring, Basic Sciences and Clinical Sciences block cards, a points ring and milestones.
- Awards tracking: see when you qualify for Distinction in Basic Sciences, Distinction in Clinical Sciences, Honours and First Class Honours.
- Path-forward guidance that tells you how many more points you need to reach the next award.
- What-If mode with sliders for courses you have not completed yet, so you can plan ahead.
- Search courses by name or code, and jump between years with the year chip bar.
- Scoring Guide screen explaining exactly how points and awards are calculated.
- Export your results to CSV and share them.
- Light, Dark and System appearance, with UCT branding throughout.
- Automatic saving as you type.
