Amazing app to learn phonics! I use the desktop app in class/via Zoom lessons (it was a life-saver during pandemic!) with my students. They download the app to practice at home (first 50 lessons on phone/tablet-based app are free). It's hard to practice phonics solo if you can't check for correct pronunciation. This way, students immediately discover if they read a word correctly. Eliminates frustration, reinforces their efforts and builds in success! They love it. Great tech support too!

This app contains the material needed to teach reading. It has the sound, words and sentences. However, I think the full app possibly has too many lessons, as it tries to teach nearly every possible combination of letters that make a sound. Also, it is very dry. It is like a text book. For these same reasons, I think it would work quite well with an adult or older child who wants to learn to read. The trial version is free, though, so go ahead and try it.

I paid about 4 dollars for a small section, but it just stole my money and didn't allow me to do any of the lesson s. This is not right 😕 I work hard for my money.
