Sweet and sour. The sweet part is that it is an excellent App. The sour part is that unfortunately it doesn't work with my Samsung Note 4. So I contacted IK and they gave me kind advice but that also did not help. If I remember right, I did not get a re-fund.

Happy with the app. but not happy it keeps using the Mic when the app has
been closed. app was closed running in the back ground to save memory but
still pops up saying Ultratuner is using the Mic when I've not opened it...

This is a pretty good tuner app. I've only used it with the Stage Tuner mode, though. One big gripe I have is the lack of an "EXIT" button or something. The Tuner grabs hold of the microphone and doesn't let it go, making it impossible to use Google Now or other apps that require microphone use. Please fix this. Either let the microphone go when the app is running in the background, or add some way to easily exit out of the app.

Big disappointment!!! HTC One M9 - nothing works as it was advertised. It cannot even detect that E3 and A strings are resonating. I will see if I can ask for my 8$ back!!! As much as I like Amplitude, I hate this tuner. And there are so many free tuners working much better. Actually, this one doesn't work at all. I only bought it to tune when guitar is plugged in via USB. But that is when nothing works!

I bought the app yesterday and spent more than an hour trying to get it to work. Nothing about it made sense and no matter what I tried, I was unable to tune my guitar using the app. (I have iRig 2 installed on my Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and it works just fine.) Finally I gave up and wrote to the developer asking for a refund because the app does not work. Their reply was they would call me back within 2 minutes. This was more than 12 hours ago and they still have not contacted me in any way - not to mention they still have my money. Buyer Beware. This is just a scam. The app is crap and they are not a reputable company. All they seem to be interested in is taking your money and leaving you high and dry. I would never buy anything else from IK Multimedia US, LLC.
