May I ask if this app is Unify Playtv or Unify TV apps? I use Unify Lite and only have access on Unify Playtv. I hope that developer can make this app compatible with both account type because it can help piracy issue on Malaysia by giving access free national channel to all people that have internet and android tv devices. Give people freedom to watch using unify playtv account.

This has been resolved in 2021 with my new Sony Bra via X90H Android TV. Old review (January 28, 2020, for Sony Bra via X83C Android TV) This is an Android TV app version, but I couldn't run it on any Android TV I have since it doesn't recognize them. I suppose this is for your new Android TV-based Unify TV Plus box.

Does not work on NVidia Shield. When I called support I was told that only Samsung Smart TVs as well as certain boxes from Huawei and Sky worth (ie boxes that are distributed by Unify themselves) are supported. Was told to download the iPhone or Android app instead. Listen here- I got an Android TV because I kept falling asleep while watching and slamming my phone or tablet onto my face, resulting in pain. I got an Android TV because I want to fall asleep watching TV. I no longer want to use my phone or tablet while watching TV. And the set-top box I was provided is half useless, because my TV only have two HDMI ports and putting an HDMI switch add more inconveniences. Just open up the damn app to everyone. It's not like the channels are free, I am charged RM60++ for the channels in my monthly bill anyway. And worst of all you got rid of Baby First TV instead of the inferior and useless Baby TV. Very unhappy. Lastly, I'm a Sharp diehard fan. You can plug Samsung all you want. I am never buying Samsung especially with their pro-region-locking practices.

I am not able to use this app on my Sony Android TV. Error message: "Not available in this device"??? Seriously Why!!!! I'm using Unify Internet.

The picture quality are not even HD. Bitrate are so low like what? 1mbps? Worse than the previous stb. The silver box are the best even though it didn't have all this fancy software. There is no guide and mosaic for channels. If it's for a mobile than it's fine, but this is for a tv. Claim to be a 4k stb, the 4k is only for the other apps, this app is not even HD, so much noise and block. Unify should back using VLAN for this black stb instead of OTT if you are not ready.
