⚠️ BEFORE YOU INSTALL
This is a Wi-Fi remote control, not an IR blaster remote. It controls smart TVs and streaming devices on your network. An older TV that cannot join Wi-Fi cannot be controlled by any remote app.
TV NOT SHOWING UP?
Check the phone and TV are on the same Wi-Fi — many routers split 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz into separate networks. Turn on your TV's network remote setting: Device Connect Manager on Samsung, or Mobile TV On for LG. Then tap Retry Scan, or add the TV by IP address.
🔒 WHAT IT ASKS FOR
No location permission, no camera, no contacts. Casting goes through Android's own photo picker, so the app only ever sees the files you pick. What this TV remote app does ask for is network access, to find your TV on your Wi-Fi.
Install it, join the same Wi-Fi as your TV, and you'll be changing channels before you find the old remote.
