It’s entirely text-based—without graphics or sound effects—and fueled by the vast, unstoppable power of your imagination. Which is not as cool as an actual superpower, but you get the idea.
The Omega Responders were the mightiest heroes in the world, defending Earth with their powers—time manipulation, elemental mastery, teleportation, and more. You and your friends were their sidekicks, their best and brightest. Then the Omega Responders left to face a mysterious anomaly in outer space—and never returned.
Without your mentors to guide you, it's up to you and your fellow sidekicks to decide what kind of heroes you'll be. You're not old enough to have a beer, but you sure as hell are old enough to save the world… and have your first kiss. Or your first kill. Puberty just hits different when you have superpowers.
Lead your team, travel the world gathering allies, navigate the ups and downs of public opinion, and confront villains at every turn. Will you smash and fight until there's nobody left standing? Will you help the villains talk about their feelings to understand how they went astray? Or will you turn to villainy yourself?
Meanwhile, government regulation of people with powers grows more intense every day. How will you deal with PARENTS: the Paramilitary Agency Responding to Extraordinary Non-compliant Threats and Supervillains? One of your former sidekicks is already working for the government. Will you join them?
And what will you do when the truth about the Omega Responders' last mission starts to emerge?

Don't usually leave reviews so going to be a mess. It has quite a bit of meaningful branching and choices. Also found few bugs like the game forgetting a character shouldn't be in this scene or continuity error like saying you got hurt when you didn't. It has lots of endings but a few too abrupt through. Still was pretty fun with engaging story. The superpower actually had differing effect and events to them. Didn't feel railroaded into stuff. Insane choices to pick. Overall pretty great.

It's a promising start to a series, I've played through the story once so far and the ending made for a good cliffhanger. I look forward to an eventual sequel as I want to see this series world be more fleshed out as the bits I've seen already have managed to fully grasp my attention. The nods given to some of the most well known comic book writers was a pleasant surprise as it is always nice to see them being acknowledged for their impact on the superhero genre. Looking forward to more.

It's written decently well and builds up a lot of intrigue but wow what a disaster of an ending, it's not even sequel bait it just ends abruptly after a lot of build up. Save your money for a complete story.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME! If you are a long time fan of CoG, I can understand being tempted to buy this game - but what you will have in front of you is an incomplete product with a high price tag. I'm not even talking about a part 1 of the game. The game literally ends at where the free demo stops. You get about five extra pages which is absolutely not worth it. Worse part is that the game description won't tell you this.
