If you're using this app for gas, it's great to get a little back for every purchase, only if it amounts to the tax you paid. The food options are mediocre. They are never near where I am. There's a flaw in the app. If you don't have your phone and are needing gas, you can ONLY receive cash back ONLY if you claim it before purchase. If you purchase and then claim it, you're sol. In the end, it's not worth the time. Put $1-$2 in a jar at the end of the day, you'll have twice as much saved up.

Very disappointed in the app. I have noticed I am not getting what was claimed for cents per gallon. Now they are removing the PayPal cash out option. Very, Very disappointing.

Upside no longer allows you to pay out using PayPal. Your options are a bank account (hopefully your bank is supported, mine isn't) or gift cards. No PayPal makes this app useless to me. Edit: Upside's reply to this review is self-cotradictory. In one sentence they say they ADD flexibility. In the next, they justify taking away functionality for almost a fifth of their cash-outs. While this may make business sense for Upside, it doesn't for me. Inflexibility is the problem I have with Upside.
