Total Control 2.0 is URC’s flagship home automation and control system. This whole-home solution controls entertainment, music, lighting, temperature, security, surveillance and more.
Designed to control up to 32 zones, Total Control 2.0 integrates seamlessly with a wide variety of compatible third-party entertainment and smart home products. This includes many brands of TVs, cable boxes, streaming music players, interior and exterior lighting, thermostats, door locks, surveillance cameras, door stations, pool equipment, and much more. The system can also be programmed to utilize many other automation capabilities such as sleep timers, event scheduling, NFC actions, and the phone or tablet GPS capability to automatically trigger actions based on entering or exiting specific geographic areas set by the user in the app. In addition to comprehensive control and integration possibilities, Total Control offers robust graphic (GUI) customization for connected mobile devices (such as smartphones or tablets) and URC user interfaces (such as touchscreens, remote controls, and keypads). An authorized URC dealer can customize and even personalize the onscreen graphics with room images, backgrounds and icons from the URC image library or with photos from a smartphone, tablet or digital camera.
Total Control 2.0 is professionally installed and programmed by a global network of URC systems integration professionals. It offers control for a variety of protocols including IR, IP, Serial, 12v triggers and relays. The system is network-reliant and communicates via hardline connection and Wi-Fi. A compatible URC Advanced Network System Controller that has been fully programmed for Total Control 2.0 is required for operation. This application is not compatible with systems that are programmed for the previous version of Total Control, also called Total Control 1.0.

I've had TC for a few months now. Works well for control of my media room and a few lights around the house. I like the shortcuts while using this app to jump right into other apps like YouTube and Netflix when I'm casting to the Roku. I took off 1 star because the Sonos is not working with any of the TC, but I hear a fix is coming soon.

Connection issues on S8+ with Android Oreo. Resolution is to switch to
airplane mode, which forces the device to connect to Wi-Fi only. My dealer
called and put me on a 3 way call with URC tech support, they said they
were aware of the problem and would create and contact me with a beta
version to test. Never heard back from them, ridiculous that I need to do
this for the app to work. Other than that, working well. I suggest others
try the same if having connection problems.

Please fix this app. I paid thousands for my URC Total Control 2.0 system, and now I can't reliably turn on the TV. I have reset the app to factory defaults, reinstalled it, and even deleted the directory that you don't remove after a reinstallation. Using your overpriced remote and my Amazon Echo work. It just seems to be an issue with your app. It just sits on the loading screen for most of the time. Best case, it takes a minute to turn on my TV. Most days it is faster to turn on the TV and adjust the volume by hand. I paid a ton of money for the system, but this app is just so bad. Now that I have the long overdue Oreo update installed, it won't even connect.

Frustrating! Recently upgraded to Galaxy S10 from S7, and it does not connect to the network. Old phone worked fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled several times with no luck. My wife's iPhone works just fine. Is there another version I should be using with my phone? I don't know what else to do???
