Useful Local Navigation

Over 500,000 downloads across iOS and Android.

Point your phone and quickly find stations, cafes, convenience stores, hospitals, banks, and other useful places nearby.

Useful Local Navigation lets you search around your current GPS location or any place you choose. You can view results on the map, in the list, or in the AR screen, making it easy to understand what is nearby and which direction to go.

Because of changes in Google API pricing, Google-based search is limited to 150 requests per day. After that, the app falls back to HERE API and Yahoo! JAPAN search.

Offline maps are available from version 3.0.0. Download maps in advance so you can keep browsing even when you do not have a stable internet connection. You can also combine offline maps with imported KML or KMZ files and your saved favorite places.

Key features:
- Search nearby places by keyword
- Use the AR screen with an electronic compass to check direction
- Switch between Google Maps and downloaded offline maps
- Import KML and KMZ files for offline use
- Save favorite places and favorite search terms
- Reopen previous searches from history
- Send your current location, a search point, or a destination by email
- Open routes in Google Navigation
- Move the map center quickly with @location search commands
- Track your path with GPS footprints

Tips:
- Use Wi-Fi or mobile data when available
- AR features require an electronic compass
- To reduce battery use, you can turn off the camera view in Settings
- If GPS is slow, try restarting your device or moving to an open area
