Full description: Uttara Bank Limited celebrated 50th anniversary of its Banking Service in 2015. This well established and ancient bank has a rich history. With the initiation of some renown bengali businessmen it was established to facilitate the disadvantaged people of the then East Pakistan and started its banking operation officially on 28th January of 1965 in name of “Eastern Banking Corporation” with four branches which soon reached 60 just before the independence. During Non-cooperation movement in 1971, this bank performed the treasury function of East Bengal.

First of all I am a customer of this bank. And their service is really very good. But one thing I have to say at their wallet app there has been a lots of scope to update. Like bkash transfer. I will request Uttara Bank for adding feature like this as early as possible. Regards Sivan

It is really good to see that the institute and the developer of this app are taking notes and working on customers' requests. The biometric login and MFS integration are commendable, that's why I have amped up the star rating this time. Also, it is noticed that you are working on an app based FDR+DPS opening. Still, this app needs to modernize the UI/UX like EBL Sky banking and others. This old school looking interface does not look great in these modern times.

Uttara Bank’s digital banking and customer service are extremely low-quality. It takes an excessively long time to activate the card, and even after calling customer care, no permanent solution is provided; instead, the customer is harassed. In this current digital era, where almost all banks in the country keep 'Add Money' or fund transfers to bKash or Nagad completely free, Uttara Bank is charging an extra BDT 11.50 (BDT 10 + BDT 1.50 VAT) per transaction, which is completely illogical.
