Perfect! Excellent control of V1 Gen 2 detector, great functional enhancement. I've been a Mike Valentine customer and since the beginning of his radar detector and locator business. It's not surprising that once again Valentine One leads the industry. Buy the V1 Gen2 and use this free app for the best in accurate, selective radar protection. (Wonder why some reviewers ignore the V1 and favor other brands? It's all about the $$$$ they make when you click and buy the other detectors)

Update: After a Week of not connecting to my Samsung Galaxy 10+ my V1G2 finally connected without problem. I don't explain 'em. I just report. 🤪 My smartwatch and Bluetooth headphones work at the same time as well. Works fine with a Google Pixel 4.

Paired with my V1 Gen 2 quickly, looks good so far. One request, please change the name of the app. Including "the app" in the name of the app looks really silly and yeah, it's the app...on my phone.

Will not connect via Bluetooth to my 2nd Gen 2 detector. Tech support is clueless.

It simply does not work! I have been stuck in Demo mode for weeks. I was told it would take 24 hours to eventually connect. Not true! I have Samsung Galaxy 10e Android phone. Tried installing app several times, makes no difference. Under Bluetooth, I select my V1 Gen 2, it says pairing, Bluetooth symbol is illuminated on V1, says app is required, open V1 Connection, the app, and it is ALWAYS stuck in DEMO MODE!!!! This app sucks!
