The villagers become ghouls, able to move two spaces in any direction instead of being mere humans confined to moving a single space in limited directions.

The game also features the ability for certain powerful pieces like vampires and hunters to teleport, moving them to any open space. Teleport wisely, you only get to do it twice each game.
