Overall, the platform is good. I would give it a 7/10. The app can get a little glitchy sometimes, but I am enjoying the recent updates. I love tutoring and this platform allows me to do what I love and help those that need it!

Varsity tutors have really good tutoring, my tutor Ian is a really great tutor. I really understood what I was learning in my session with Ian learning and going over college statistics. We went over data interpretation, statistics, and concepts related to variables and graphs.

I called to end my subscription. They talked me into "pausing" my account instead. My acct resumed without my knowledge, and no tutoring sessions were scheduled with my child after the acct was resumed. I was charged $660-ish dollars for an acct that I was not aware had been resumed. I caught it 2 mos after the acct had resumed. They offered no refund after I requested it, and sent me an AI email, "I hope this email finds you well." The 2 stars are for the tutor who worked with my child.

As a student I was promised I would be able to get help through the tutoring, I gave to my interviewer all necessary information he needed to match me with the best tutor. And after several tutors I only found one who was barely able to help me. 1 hour per week for a month when they charge you 300–400 dollars is just horrible. And when my month of useless overpriced classes ended, they tried over and over again to the point of being pushy to not end my contract with them. Worst tutoring app ever

My review as a former tutor, After certification, getting opportunities was challenging; most were taken by other tutors, or there was no response after showing interest. I finally got one session, but the student only needed help for a quiz and didn’t continue despite signing up as regular. After the session, my payment wasn’t added, and I had to email support for it. The contract ended abruptly without notice without the payment. Disappointed but still willing to tutor if given a chance.
