Need to update Wi-Fi Pairing in app. If using traditional Wi-Fi pairing (not WPS) I had to manually connect to safe Wi-Fi when app and safe were in pairing mode using Vaulted Wi-Fi network that will appear (in phone settings) using 12345678 as Wi-Fi password. This allows app to talk to safe to send it the Wi-Fi credentials you set in app. Safe should then say connected to Wi-Fi. I had to crash out off app after this and go through 'Add a user' process the 2nd time through as safe is on your Wi-Fi.

Pretty good, the important stuff works. Setup is pretty poor, lots of retries before it works but that said this doesn't seem to be uncommon for devices like this. Once configured the app seems to work flawlessly, timely notifications and easy to make configuration changes. Easy to manage multiple safes.

The app doesn't work. What else is there to say? Won't connect to the safe. Guess I'll call Vaulted... I'll talk about the app in addition to the fingerprint scanner not working. Sigh

Wi-Fi setup is impossible with many common smartphones. It simply doesn't work. And Vaulted doesn't care, as you can tell by their lack of response to the negative reviews. Also needs more step-by-step instructions with pics. Pricey safes with nice features but they couldn't trouble themselves to create a decent app.

Hi-tech gun safe and I love it. The whole reason why I bought this series is cause of the fingerprint and Wi-Fi. This app is complete garbage. Only connects to 2.4.ghz? Fine. I changed my connection from 5G to 2.4ghz just so I can use the app -DIDNT WORK. I used two different phones-DIDNT WORK. I turned on and off the airplane mode just as instructed in the manual - DIDNT WORK. I did I reset on my Wi-Fi modem -DIDNT WORK. I even reset the safe itself and still DIDNT WORK. What a waste.
