Need to update Wi-Fi Pairing in app. If using traditional Wi-Fi pairing (not WPS) I had to manually connect to safe Wi-Fi when app and safe were in pairing mode using Vaulted Wi-Fi network that will appear (in phone settings) using 12345678 as Wi-Fi password. This allows app to talk to safe to send it the Wi-Fi credentials you set in app. Safe should then say connected to Wi-Fi. I had to crash out off app after this and go through 'Add a user' process the 2nd time through as safe is on your Wi-Fi.

My safe wouldn't connect for the first time using the app. Worked using the WPS on the router though. Other than that, the app works just fine.

The app and notifications work fine, but set up was not easy. For anyone reading this you must use WPS setup if you don't want to spend all day messing around with this. Trust me I've been through it, been frustrated, and I gave WPS a try and that is the way it connected immediately. Don't try any other way use WPS, and you'll be thanking me later.

Wi-Fi setup is impossible with many common smartphones. It simply doesn't work. And Vaulted doesn't care, as you can tell by their lack of response to the negative reviews. Also needs more step-by-step instructions with pics. Pricey safes with nice features but they couldn't trouble themselves to create a decent app.

The app doesn't work. What else is there to say? Won't connect to the safe. Guess I'll call Vaulted... I'll talk about the app in addition to the fingerprint scanner not working. Sigh
