Description

The vCam Mobile Controller app can connect a smartphone or tablet to the vCamMx-2 or vCam-6 control modules
via Wi-Fi and stream live video into the app. The videos and pictures captured in the app can be shared using the
smartphone or tablets native sharing options.

What is seen on the control modules LCD is duplicated in the vCam Mobile Controller allowing the contractor to
keep everyone off the job site and still allow others to view the live inspection.

* Add text to recording video or pictures
* Keep customers off the job site
* Send customers pictures and videos while you are still on the job site
* Record video in HD quality on the smartphone or tablet
* Edit files in Apple Movie Maker
* Share via Android/iOS sharing features (email, text message, DropBox, OneDrive)

Recent changes:
This new Android app update includes firmware updates for the vCam-6, Wi-Fi Adapter, vXCamDrain and MX2+ devices.

o Fixed video to audio sync in the MX2+
o Fixed black and white color drift in the Wi-Fi Adapter
o Updated German, French and Spanish languages
o The sonde will turn off after one continuous hour of operation
o Reel type selection in the Wi-Fi Adapter
o Various bug fixes and app enhancements

The camera has really good video quality on the screen and as it does for the application for the phone or tablet. The only downside I think they need to update is when your recording with your phone if the footage is too long, and you want to send the footage over via email or text message. They need to put an edits button on the application, so you can edit the size of the footage so that you can make it easily to send via text message or email.

The newest update has made this app a poor resource for the people intended to use it, before the newest update you could easily save the videos in order to upload them to outside sources that is no longer possible unless you can send it to another device in proximity.
