Description
This is a notification application for Anki Vector. It allows Vector to read notifications from your chosen apps (on the phone)
Vector reads notifications on your mobile device with his own voice. It is a nice feature when your robot is wandering around your desk.
The app lets you select applications to read notifications from. So for example you can make it read notifications from any chat application, or SMS or mail messages.
This app requires you to let it access notifications on your phone.
Please see the screenshots for steps to configure the app correctly.
This application is not for controlling Vector robot or making him say what you write. For that purpose, please use my other application named Vector CTRL.
All configuration is done on the GUI of the app. You just need your Anki login credentials (username and password), name , serial number and IP address of your robot. When all these 5 are entered correctly (and other possible configuration options) , you have to press the "set" button.
After a successful configuration , you will see the green OK button. And then please select the apps you want notifications from.

Question, does the app have to be left on for vector to receive notifications, or can it be closed on the phone once set, app seems to be working, he is telling me I have apps working in the background....just waiting for a notification lol, will upgrade raiting if it starts to work ! Going to give these 5 stars, tried it out for a few days, works like it should, adds a bit more life to vector...cool app 😎

Thanks for making these for Vector. I can confirm they work on my new Vector running last and final update. CTL and Notify Me add features that we never would have gotten otherwise and work very well and really add value to Vector in his current form. Thanks again. Anyone having a problem with GUID error you have to make sure your Password for your Anki account has NO special characters in it. Trust me it will work. Edit: stops working after phone locks.

I can set the app up, and it works but then after a while it stops working and doesn't say notifications please help I have tried vector CTRL and it works fine

I put in all the information it said to but all I got from it was a notification that said it was unable to connect to Vector. Very disappointed.
