(From my testing, this is a LOT less buggy/insecure than Quebec's, and can even verify codes from other provinces, so very good job on the developers!). Source code is available on GitHub, so well done developers for delivering on your commitment to transparency!

For an Ontario government app, it's honestly not too bad. I was able to easily get to the point where, if I had a QR code to scan, I could. Can't give it five stars yet, but I might if I finally get my own QR code, which I have heard might arrive shortly. For all you idiots, anti vaxxers, white supremists, trump supporters. You can potentially use this to verify your soon to be released QR code will allow you to get into those sleaze bag peeler bars you go to. Isn't that enough value for you?

ONTARIO GOVERNMENT DOES NOT CARE ABOUT PRIVACY.. serious Peivacy concerns allowing 3rd parties to access this app. this app is not safe. Like "portpass", data was stolen from 3rd parties and the same will happen to your information. If you care about your personal privacy and safety then do not download this app!!!!

I get that this is for businesses, but it would have made sense to have an app for actual patrons. Having to dig up the stupid qr card is a pain. Simply tapping an icon for nfc or something would make more sense. Most business still insis on id and visually review your vax status so the app is really completely useless. Also anyone could simply be emailed someone else's qr code.

the app doesnt want to scan my QR code, keeps on saying "not a government-issued certificate", dont know why they didnt work out all the bugs before releasing it

I can't verify because it says I might not have the right verification because its not issued by the country and province but I live in Canada and I got a vaccine at shoppers drug mart and it's not properly scanning my proof and if they send a scan in the email to us how are we suppose to put it on the app?
