Comments on VERSUS: The Elite Trials for Android

★★★★★ a non · Jul 19, 2021

The entire Versus series is worth every penny. You get out what you put into it. Immerse yourself in it entirely to reap its many benefits. But even just as a story or game, this series is still at the top.

★★★★☆ Adam Young · Sep 3, 2019

A continuation of the Versus saga. One thing to point out is that this book is far more political than the first. I am not a huge fan of these kinds of choice games with political intrigue, but it is well written. The author had to pursue the political side of things because of the plot from the first book, but I suspect the next book will be more action oriented with plot twists and unexpected Revelations. Worth buying as part of the upcoming trilogy.

Yet another amazing book. I truly can't wait to read the next one.

★★★★★ Veloce Vayford · Jul 26, 2018

Improved upon the previous one in every way. The first part was an amazing cog game but this is a full-fledged novel with incredible room for choice, every one of which mattered.

This game just consist of "gods" telling you there long ass life stories, and it feels like your character is just along for the ride being led through the story the main bad guy is so not powerful compared to the wone are in fact so powerful they just ruin the story

★☆☆☆☆ Danny Jee · Apr 29, 2019

I loved Heroes Rise trilogy, and was excited to play the authors next books. Unfortunately the writer is constantly forcing his political opinion in your face, and kind of punishing you if you disagree and make a different choice, such as the planet creation scene. Honestly I try to play these games to get away from the crazed political world, and this did the exact opposite. Big let down, anf the first one wasn't much better. Everything had great potential, but I've lost interest.

★☆☆☆☆ Rob · Mar 25, 2025

The first game had an interesting premise. This one has a lot of weird opinions forcibly shoehorned into it. Really weird stuff that has no right being in a story based on decisions. Including at least one incredibly sexist rant that has nothing to do with your choice.
