VHS Camera: Retro Video Editor

Make everyday moments feel like a home movie. VHS Camera pairs a retro camcorder with a hands-on video editor inspired by the 1980s.

CREATE YOUR VHS LOOK
Choose Home, Rental or Worn, or keep your video Clean. Adjust intensity, grain, wear and color bleed to find your own tape look. Apply the VHS treatment when you export your video.

EDIT YOUR TAPE
Import a video or record new clips. Trim, split and arrange clips, crop or rotate the picture, and choose a frame that fits your story. Add a title, switch the date stamp on or off, and mix your own music with the original sound.

SAVE THE MEMORIES
Render your edited video, save it to your gallery or share it using your device’s share sheet. Your original clips stay separate from your edits.

MADE FOR HANDS-ON EDITING
Tactile controls, cassette labels and a dark retro deck make recording and editing feel like using a camcorder again. Layouts adapt to phones and tablets.

Recording and editing work without an account. Enable automatic cloud backup with no email or password required. This phone keeps a secure backup identity, and originals upload over Wi-Fi while the app is open. Edited exports and editing projects stay on your device. Cloud restore is not currently available. Backups include up to 5 GB; imported clips over 90 MB remain local. Uninstalling or clearing app data may remove the saved backup identity; keep separate copies.

Camera, microphone and photo-library access are requested when needed. No advertising or in-app purchases in this version.
