I have had wonderful drivers! The app has grown and is much easier to work and watch the status of the ride to my destinations. I just wish the area covered was just a bit expanded, seems more coverage for north county than south county. But I am super happy with the app/service.

VIA and the microtransit movement is a life changer for me. VIA Is an environmently sound solution for people in more sparsely populated suburban regions adjacent to major metropolitan centers. Not everyone has a car at their disposal and, some such as seniors, would be isolated without it.
This app is absolutely terrible, it has drivers drive weird routes, and it's impossible to get anywhere on time. The app doesn't allow you to be picked up and dropped off at your exact location, and it changes your pickup and drop off location with no warning minutes before pick up and drop off. I requested a ride once at 5:25 p.m. and didn't get dropped off till 6:25 p.m. making me late to my destination. I can't stress enough just how terribly this app was made. The 5-star reviews are lies.

Ever since they rolled out this new app it has been impossible to get a ride. Sometimes the app won't show me my pickup info. There is also a specific driver that I constantly have issues with named Tonya G. I have reported her multiple times, and they choose to do nothing about it. She just decides she doesn't want to pick you up, that, or she won't complete the ride till 30 minutes after you get dropped off, so she can go do whatever. Other drivers watch videos on phone while driving! DANGEROUS!!

My daughter & I have been having the WORST experiences with Via. Not only is it hard to book a ride because get message about high demand. But in pouring down rain, after waiting an hour for a ride, we were refused a ride. Why? We had a laundry basket. Now, this is NOT first time we used Via to go to laundromat. As matter of fact we used it to go there. Suddenly we are refused because we had laundry basket. DON'T use them if you have ANYTHING to carry! No groceries, laundry, luggage, nothing!!
