Description
Switch between ring and vibrate mode in one tap — straight from your Quick Settings panel or home screen widget. No digging through Settings, no fumbling with volume buttons.
π Works great on Android 17 and Google Pixel devices With recent Android updates changing how the notification shade and sound shortcuts behave, a lot of users found the stock ringer toggle slower or harder to reach. This app gives you a dedicated, reliable vibrate mode switch that just works — tile or widget, your choice.
π§ Key Features - Toggle vibrate mode instantly from your Quick Settings tile - Home screen widget for one-tap access without opening the panel - Quick switch between ring and vibrate mode (ringer mode switch) - No root required — works out of the box - Lightweight, 2MB install, zero background battery drain - Works on Android 7.0 through Android 17 - Built for meetings, classrooms, cinemas, and silent zones - Screen Lock Widget — lock your screen with one tap, like a soft power button (Pro feature)
π How to set up the Quick Settings tile 1. Install the app 2. Pull down your notification shade 3. Tap the pencil/edit icon 4. Drag the "Vibrate Mode" tile into your active tiles 5. Tap anytime to switch ring ↔ vibrate
π How to add the home screen widget 1. Long-press your home screen 2. Tap Widgets 3. Find "Vibrate Mode" and drag it to your screen 4. One tap to switch sound profile, no panel needed
π Screen Lock Widget (Vibrate Pro) Great for worn-out or hard-to-reach power buttons. Add the lock widget to your home screen and tap it anytime to lock your screen instantly — just like pressing the power button, but from wherever you placed the widget.
This feature uses Android's Accessibility Service API solely to perform the screen lock action. This is the only API available to non-system apps for locking the screen without requiring Device Admin. The service does not read or monitor screen content, does not interact with other apps, does not collect or transmit any data, and does not run in the background for any purpose other than responding to a widget tap. You will see a clear in-app explanation before being asked to enable this permission, and you can disable it at any time from Settings → Accessibility.
π‘οΈ Privacy-first No data collected. No data shared. No background tracking. This app does one thing — switch your ringer mode — and nothing else.
β¨Whether you're stepping into a meeting, a class, or just want a faster ring/vibrate switch after the Android 17 update, this tile + widget combo has you covered.
Recent changes: • New "Include Do Not Disturb" setting on the main screen — when enabled, the QS tile, home-screen widget, and in-app toggle all cycle Sound → Vibrate → DND → Sound instead of just Sound ↔ Vibrate • Fixed the vibrate mode toggle sometimes not responding when a required permission wasn't granted

Great app, it works well! I removed one star because the new tile icon doesn't make sense. It should always look like the vibrating phone icon because that is what you are toggling on and off. Now if your phone is not on vibrate, it will show a megaphone to signify it will make it loud, when really it should show what the action will switch to. I'm nitpicking but still.

Works otherwise well, but the tile state does not reflect the phone's vibration setting if the setting is changed elsewhere. I.e. the tile just remembers if it was clicked to engage or disengage the vibration setting. If you change the vibration setting via the volume button, the tile state is out of sync. Would be nice if the tile could observe the vibration state independently of the clicks in some future version :-)
