This is a wonderful app. If you are looking to memorize basic Mandarin vocabulary and Simplified Characters and also learn few sentences with the vocabulary, this is it. While this app doesn't teach you Mandarin grammar or help you speak, it builds your memory to recognize words and characters with so many tests on many different forms. There is a character order test, listening test, pinyin test, etc. One thing I found out odd is that some of the words are pronounced slightly different.
