This looks like it could be really useful for reading with my VS!!! Unfortunately it still blocks touch input on the official release of Android 12 (Pixel 5) so isn't currently usable. The only app which accepts touch when the overlay is enabled is this app itself, it even breaks the app switcher (notifications shade is not affected).
