Description by DDJ A1 Written by the developer, not by AppBrain. Click to read.
Vitajot is a blood pressure log and blood sugar log for the numbers you already take yourself. You read them off your own monitor or glucose meter, you type them in, and Vitajot keeps them in order — so that when the doctor asks, you have an answer.
WHAT IT IS NOT
There is no camera measurement here. No finger on the lens, no "scan your pulse". Vitajot never claims to measure your blood pressure or your glucose, because a phone cannot. It is a notebook, and it is honest about that.
NUMBERS BEFORE CHARTS
Most trackers bury the average inside a graph you cannot read. Vitajot shows the average, the lowest and the highest for the week, month or three months as plain numbers, large enough to read out loud in the clinic. The chart comes after, and you can look at systolic and diastolic separately instead of squinting at two lines crossing each other.
HAND IT TO YOUR DOCTOR
One tap makes a summary you can actually send: a clean image of the period with average, lowest, highest and a small trend line, plus a CSV file of every reading. Send both to your doctor, your family, or yourself. No screenshots of screenshots.
YOUR RECORDS STAY YOURS
Everything lives on this phone. No account, no login, no server, nothing uploaded. Export a backup file whenever you want and import it back on a new phone — because losing years of readings when you change devices is the worst thing a blood pressure tracker can do to you.
WRITTEN THE WAY YOU ACTUALLY TAKE READINGS
- Systolic, diastolic and pulse on one screen
- Blood sugar in mg/dL or mmol/L, switchable right where you type
- Tags that match real life: on waking, before medication, before a meal, 2h after a meal, before bed
- A note on any reading, for the day you changed medication or slept badly
- Tags and notes visible in the list, not hidden behind another tap
RANGES EXPLAINED, NOT JUST COLOURED
Each reading gets a range label from published adult guidelines, and the range it came from is printed underneath. So when the app says stage 1, you can see exactly why. It is reference information, not a diagnosis.
QUIET REMINDERS
An optional nudge in the morning and the evening so a day does not go missing. Decline notifications and every feature still works.
A WIDGET THAT SAVES A TAP
Your latest reading on the home screen, and a plus button that opens the entry screen directly.
