Vocal Range Test guides you through a short singing test, measures your vocal range and shows it on a piano keyboard next to the typical ranges of soprano, mezzo-soprano, contralto, countertenor, tenor, baritone and bass.

A GUIDED TEST IN 3 STEPS
1. Sing a few comfortable notes: the app finds the centre of your voice.
2. Go down a guided scale, one whole tone at a time, to the lowest note you can sustain.
3. Go up to the highest note you can sustain.
Optional piano reference notes play each target (headphones recommended). Only steady notes held for half a second count, so shouts, vocal fry, breaths and cracks never distort the result. A ring fills while you hold a note and pulses once when it is accepted.

The voice type is an indication, not a diagnosis: it also depends on timbre and on where your registers change, which no pitch test can measure. The app says so plainly.
