VTech Connect to Cell™ Comprising Caller ID manager and Alerts manager, Connect to Cell offers a convenient solution to integrate your Android™ cell phone with the Bluetooth®-enabled VTech branded phone systems*. The app supports Android OS 2.3 and higher.
Caller ID manager allows you: - To view your VTech branded phone’s caller ID log on your Android cell phone; - To use your Android cell phone to call back individuals who have called your home line on the VTech branded telephone; - To store callers’ names and numbers to your Android phone’s directory for future use.
Alerts manager allows you to extend your Android phone’s alerts to your VTech branded telephone system. Your VTech branded telephone will notify you whenever you receive certain e-mails or social media updates on your Android phone, so you will always be kept up to date. Alerts manager is compatible with the following applications or services:

How to adjust notification volume on DS6291 ? So maybe this app is missing this feature - but anyone knows how to adjust the notification volume on the DS6291, I only see ring volume and keypad tone - and the volume on my note 4 is turned off, and I see no feature on the app to control this - would be nice to tone town the alert volume - other than that they work good, would be a cool feature that the handset's provided the SMS details or whom the email is from - vs just that you have a new SMS or email - but that would cost a lot more than $89 I guess

Works fine I think the major problem, at least for us, was the lack of information on how to set it up. Finally clued in that we had to hit the button on the home base of the phone while one of our cells searched via Bluetooth in order to pair the two together. Before that we were trying to work with the handset and were wondering why neither of our cells were picking up on phone under the Bluetooth section. Now both of our phones are paired and tested and everything seems fine. 😊

Doesn't work with Nexus 5 App seems to show up with no issues, but won't connect to Tech DS6521. Which is odd since the sister app for contacts will... Hopefully you can fix. On a side note, phone calls with Tech DS6521 on Bluetooth via the Nexus 5 also don't work...
