Description
Now you can wake up to your favourite Spotify tunes! Wakeify allows you to select songs for alarms using Spotify. This app has not been produced by Spotify. Please test the alarm before using it. It is advised that you read the "Issues and Limitations" below before using the app.
Features
• Quickly search for songs. • Select mutliple songs for an alarm. Wakeify will play a song at random. • Create multiple alarms. • Set the duration of the snooze function. • Set the days of the week for which an alarm will sound. • Set the desired volume of an alarm. • Set a time in minutes and seconds for the volume to increase from zero (Volume Ramping). • If Spotify does not start correctly, Wakeify will play your system alarm.
Issues and Limitations
Wakeify requires that you have a Spotify premium account and Spotify installed on your device to play Spotify songs. Spotify may sometimes experience technical difficulties that can interfere with the operation of this app.
Wakeify does not support Spotify playlists but you can add more than one song to be randomly played for each alarm.
Sometimes the Spotify app does not load correctly. Wakeify attempts to solve this by trying to load Spotify twice, before falling back upon your system alarm. However, if your device is playing a sound from another app, it will assume that Spotify has loaded and the failsafe will not work. Also the failsafe may not currently work on Android 7.0 and later.
On Android 6.0 and later there may be issues playing an alarm through a lockscreen. Please test this before using the app for an alarm. Removing a secure lock may resolve issues. I'm looking at solutions for an update.
Please send an email to the developer if you experience any issues.

Very Good Very good app, if a little basic. A few points though. 1. You must disable any pincode/password/pattern on your phone. 2. You must have spotify Premium. 3. You will have to pick and load songs individually. 4. Layout/Design of snooze/turn off is very basic. 5. It only plays one song from your list which is a shame. Other than point five, one through four, are minor issues for me. But I'd like to have it continue to play. Fix point five and it Will be 5*. Otherwise Good app.

Can't connect to server? Set an alarm and went to add music and got the error. Won't even play the pre added songs. Phone is on Wi-Fi connection. Bluetooth headset paired.

Doesn't work Won't connect to Spotify and just plays default alarm. Looking at other reviews it won't even do that reliably. Uninstalled.

Has a lot of potential but is not ready for the market place yet. It worked my first try. Spotify and the alarm were both open on my phone. Was excited and thought all the reviews were wrong. Then I tried it a second time, but this time I closed the alarm app and the Spotify app. Sure enough my screen lit up at the exact time the alarm was set to but no music. Then AFTER I closed the alarm the song I set started playing. If I had actually wanted to wake up it would have failed completely at doing so. Not very helpful to play the song after I hit the "Turn Off" button.
