FIXED - This app has start crashing as soon as I try and play the audio stream. Latest Android version on a Google Pixel 8 pro.

Discovered this app when the older version, WAMC Mobile, stopped playing live streams. This one works fine, however, has a few quirks. First, it is super annoying to listen to the same ad at the beginning of live stream. I understand that WAMC is a non-profit radio and needs all the support from sponsors it can get, however, it could be frustrating to listen to the same message when switching from HD1 to HD2, especially as often as I am. Perhaps it could play once per day. Second, the autoplay function when choosing a Program should be an option in settings. Sometimes, you just want to browse through the wonderful programs you've missed and then select the one you want to listen. Third, it would be great to display the name of the program during the live stream. Thanks.

This app needs work. It will randomly stop working. WAMC is wonderful and needs an app that reflects that. Just remove all the news stories and make it a straight live stream app with nothing else.
