doesn't work on my phone. The app can not be opened. The galaxy wearable app also cannot be installed on my phone. I can not use my smartwatch now

I'm trying to pair my Galaxy watch 8 ultra to my Google Pixel pro xl 9. The galaxy wearables app take me through the monitor of setting up the watch to the phone via pin code. Afterward, the galaxy wearables apps has a pop-up requesting that I download watch manager. Watch manager freezes at 99% and does not download, and I'm stuck unable to pair my devices together. Even after clearing cache and deleting storage data.

Does not work well with Google Pixel. Samsung Galaxy Watch changed later to android but with older (4 -5 yrs old) watches there is huge problem even with standard calling and notifications
