Updated app to version 3.1.16 along w/ new firmware update. Went quickly and smoothly. No issues. Use app to control and monitor a TRAX space saver water softener from US Water in my class A motor home. Caveman simple app. Everything you need, nothing you don't. If you can't Bluetooth connect for some reason try unplugging power and battery from the unit for one minute, then try again. Galaxy 21 5g, Android 12.

The app allows setting a passcode to access your water softener, but you can only use a 4-digit number. This is probably enough to keep out the average Joe, but it's really nowhere near secure. The app also in theory allows you to name the device something, but in practice both setting a pin code, and setting a name crash my Pixel 5 (not just the app, the entire phone reboots).
