Description
Yoga has been found to be effective in promoting health and is useful in improving the conditions of patients with cardiovascular diseases, stroke, diabetes and mental disorders. It is recognized as an tool to promote physical activity and recognized as such by WHO. With support from the Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (Ministry of AYUSH), Govt of India, WHO is developing a Benchmark Document for Training in Yoga as part of its global strategy to strengthen the quality, safety and effectiveness of Traditional and Complementary Medicine. This partnership has gone from strength to strength, most recently with the development of the mYoga app. This is an app for the general public and for yoga teachers to use in their daily life and teaching. It includes WHO approved yoga teaching and practice sessions of different durations developed through extensive international expert consultation processes. The app is safe and secure, collecting no data from users at all, and can be used as a daily yoga companion for persons aged 12-65 years. It will be available in all six UN languages and in Hindi.

Vedas, namaste mostly occurs as a salutation to a divinity. ... Some yoga websites claim that namaste is "the belief that there is a Divine spark within each of us" or "The divine light in me bows to the divine light within you." thanks for this app
★★★★★
Best app for practicing basic yoga and meditation, but I am not able to download Dharana & Dayana video.

★★★★★
Beautiful app with simple, easy to understand instructions. The video guide is very helpful for learners, who can use audio instructions at later point once they are comfortable with the different Aasanas.

★★☆☆☆
A very poor player has in it. Once you will pause it, it will not play. Downloading systems are very poor. This proof how government products work.
★★☆☆☆
App is not working. After open, it will close automatically and immediately
★★☆☆☆
Great initiative but needs a lot of improvement to make it more user-friendly. And also the closing prayer is Om 🕉 (Aum) but was not chanted as Abrahamic people will get offended due to their hatred and/or intolerance against anything Hindu.
★★☆☆☆
Always get stuck whenever I fast-forward the video. If this will be fixed then This app deserves more than 4 star.
★★☆☆☆
The app does not work. Since installation, I have not been able to download or watch any of the videos.
