WiFi Speed Meter: Speed Test

Is the WiFi slow in the bedroom but fine next to the router? WiFi Speed Meter helps you find out. Walk from room to room, tap Start and see how your home network really performs, with a cute pastel look and a friendly mascot keeping you company. No account needed.

MEASURE YOUR WIFI ROOM BY ROOM
• Tag each test Home, Office, Bedroom, Car or a place you name yourself
• Add a short note, like "next to the router" or "upstairs"
• Filter your history by place to spot the room with the weaker speed

WHAT EACH TEST TELLS YOU
• Download and upload speed in Mbps
• Ping and jitter
• Latency while downloading and while uploading, each with a bufferbloat grade
• A rating from Excellent to Poor, and whether the connection suits video calls, HD and 4K streaming and online gaming

A LOOK INSIDE YOUR WIFI
Network information shows your IP, WiFi standard, band, channel and signal strength. The WiFi name needs location permission.

WHY IS MY WIFI SLOW?
After every test, the Connection Doctor lists what is holding you back in plain words, with tips: weak signal, WiFi link rate as the limit, the 2.4 GHz band, bufferbloat, high jitter, a VPN, or speed below your plan or slower than usual.

YOUR NETWORKS SIDE BY SIDE
Compare your WiFi networks and mobile operators from your own history: median download, upload and ping, a bad-day speed and the best hour of the day.

MOBILE DATA TOO
Away from home, test 5G and LTE/4G the same way, with LTE and 5G RSRP, RSRQ and SINR, each rated. The Lite test measures download only and uses at most 25 MB; Data saver makes it the default on mobile data. Full tests are capped on mobile data, and a Data usage screen shows what the app used.

HANDY EXTRAS
• Streaming test: start time, video quality and buffering
• Ping monitor with live latency, jitter and packet loss
• DNS benchmark against 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8 and 9.9.9.9
• Browsing test and region latency map
• ISP plan check: your last 30 days against your plan
• Optional coverage map (off by default)
• Quick Settings tile and long-press shortcut

Auto uses the nearest Cloudflare server. Regional servers (Pro) are run by an open research project that publishes test data, including your IP address, so the app asks you first.

STAYS ON YOUR PHONE
Results are saved only on your device. Share a result as an image, with Private sharing to hide the server city. Reset local data clears everything in one step.

FREE OR PRO
Free with ads, keeping your latest 20 results. Pro removes ads and adds unlimited history with trend charts (also per place), CSV export, a PDF plan report, scheduled tests with speed-drop alerts, a 60-second streaming watch with saved runs, home-screen widgets, any test server and comparison over your whole history. Monthly, quarterly, yearly or lifetime, or watch an ad for 2 hours of Pro.

Light and dark themes, 12 languages.

Location is used only if you allow it, to label results by place and draw the coverage map. Advertising and analytics SDKs may collect device identifiers and diagnostics.
