I purchased it to monitor the Camp Fire in California. The program does a decent job of showing the progress of fires s well as some additional info. All good. What I didn't care for was the size and permanent location of the map layer key. It takes up way to much space on a tablet (let alone phone) and gets in the way. It would be great if there was an onscreen option to reduce or hide the key, then restore it as needed. UPDATE: Wow. The developer added the ability to toggle the map layer key on and off with the latest update. Awesome work and response - thank you. I've revised my original review from three to five stars.

great app always up to date unless you dont have service highly recommended if you live in wildfire risk area use it every wildfire season thankyou for all the Reliable information upon wildfires location and direction they are traveling very important when you live in the mountains thank you guys It would be a very helpful if you could put distance from personal location from wildefire or something along those lines otherwise best app for wildfires
