Interesting app. Can see how it helps in areas vulnerable to fire. Using it in the UK in the winter shows how precise it is! The only fires are at refineries. It's the flare stacks burning the waste products they cannot recycle, reuse etc. So I think its quite accurate if it finds these! In summer, it showed various wildfires in the UK that were known fires. Good technology, maybe could be extended as an early warning system, alerts to your phone etc. I think it uses satellite technology

it's an okay app. All these reviews saying it doesn't show anything? If you wait 5 mins it will show stuff it takes a little bit on mine, but it will show up

There are over 8 fires in newfoundland eight now and not one is shown. Mexico is also on fire, but it's not showing either.

Worthless - Don't waste time. Another worthless app. Does not work. Beautiful maps with zero data. It shows no fires where I know there are fires burning, rather large fires that aren't displayed. Don't waste your time.

It's nothing more than a Google sky map... I know for a fact there are at least two fires burning within my vicinity and there is nothing at all showing.
