★★★★★ Pro isn't a waste if you want quality sound MP3 conversion reduces the size of music files by 90%. It also reduces the sound quality to tinny boombox. All my songs are in FLAC format, six times larger, or, only a 40% size reduction from the originals, but providing full CD quality. Winamp Pro plays FLAC; the free version doesn't. If you want sound quality, $5 is a trivial price.

I was able to update one album, then it crashed. Now around 75% of my albums show up as The Smithereens' 11! Album washer refuses to fix them now.
