WindAlert gives you the weather in your neighborhood, from observations onsite or right next door. With over 65,000 proprietary Tempest Weather Systems deployed, get real-time local weather right where you are. Our Tempest Rapid Refresh Model delivers the most accurate Nearcast predictions to our customers. Beyond our unmatched proprietary observations, we supplement with information from government agencies including NOAA and NWS, and bring in reports from AWOS, ASOS, METAR, and even CWOP. Radar and forecast maps, along with customized wind alerts are included to produce an accurate environmental picture.

Finally the best app I have found for wind with my situation. I live in the mountains and can never get an accurate reading. This one shows the station 1 mile from the house. We can be at 30mph and the common weather stations down the mountain are at like 5mph. Now im spot on

Was great until last update around June. Clarendon County Airport, Manning was a station but no longer a selection. Worthless as no stations around Lake Marion, Manning SC

Was 5 stars until recently. I can no longer configure alerts in the app. I still use Wind Alert via a browser. Update: This app just keeps getting worse. Now wind forecasts are broken. The browser version still works though. Please fix!

Started charging for features that were free. I have used this app for years for boating. This season, I am forced to pay 14.99 a month to utilize the same features that were free in the past. £uck this company for selling out!! As you can see, they responded with a blatant lie. I have been using this app for at least the last 10 years with no issues or complaints. Suddenly, they charge? Unless they are giving out 10 year free trial subscriptions, they are lying. Look at other reviews.
