Took me a couple of times to understand the graphs and such...so much info. But once I did, and marked a couple of my favorite spots, Windy has been VERY helpful. I used to use 3 different apps to cobble together a fishing plan. Now it's just Windy. It's my go-to app. Also works great for surfing and motorcycle rides.

To even get started it was asking my age, what sports I play/what I do outside, my knowledge on wether, and how I found the app. I assume there are more questions, but I just uninstalled it I have never felt like an app wants my data more

Not local enough. I want the forecast for my exact location. I can neither find my location using the search nor do I understand how to set my exact current location. Also misleading formulations to trick you into subscription "70%, OFF", is actually 30% off.

Ridiculously overcomplicated for just checking the weather. Have to customize an entire profile with a game of 20 questions just to check if it's raining or not, and you can't even do that. Everything is stuck behind a pay wall the only thing ID gives you for free is wind and 15 different versions of wind but all I want to see is how much it will rain at X time. But you have to choose a sport you do outside even though nothing is not a choice and neither is just simple driving. Website better.
